For the past several months Elon Musk has been fighting a battle against something he finds distasteful. He first offered to buy Twitter which he did because he believed the platform did not support freedom of expression. There was an attack on creator Bill Gates, and a shift toward the extreme right of conservatism.
Now Musk is turning his attention to the video sharing platform YouTube. YouTube viewers have access to a nearly infinite library of free content, ranging from shoestring instructional videos to full-length blockbusters. Most of the funding for this business model comes from advertising.
In his most recent campaign against the technology, the Tesla entrepreneur objected to the types of ads allowed on the site, requiring Elon Musk to sign up for YouTube Premium, which costs just $12 a month, to shut down the ads. It should be emphasized that Elon has a net worth of $218.1 billion.
Additionally, there are an unlimited number of free ad-blockers that can be installed in a matter of seconds. Musk has been manipulating the price of Tesla shares for years, using Twitter as his primary tool. Additionally, he has amassed a fortune simply by using his power to control cryptocurrencies, which are total worthless.
