Twitter’s new president hasn’t started yet, though he now has a fake account that’s “suspended.” Linda Yacarino will take over as head of Twitter, Elon Musk said on Friday. Will start in a month and a half and will “essentially focus on business operations.
Four months after promising to step down as chairman of Twitter, Elon Musk has finally tracked down someone to replace him.
Linda Yacarino resigned Friday from NBCUniversal, where she worked for more than 10 years. Hours after the fact, Musk announced him as the new chief.
That, Musk said, “will essentially be centered around business operations” while he focuses on “item planning and new innovation.”
While it won’t launch until June, someone has now created a spoof account under the username @lindayaccarina — and one of its most memorable activities was to “suspend” Musk’s Twitter account.
The record, which states in its profile that it is the “official fake record of the Twitter president”, has 13,000 followers to date.
As per Twitter’s rules, spoof accounts are allowed as long as their name is clearly mentioned on the profile.
Musk responded to the analysis about the arrangement, saying that he believed both sides of the political spectrum would find Yacarino’s tracks “smart, fair and sensible”.
BloomTech President Austen Allred said the Yacarino arrangement could be seen as an affirmation of Musk’s “moderate” beliefs.
Yacarino is highly regarded in the promotional business, and hiring him could be a wise choice by Musk.
She spoke with Tycoon in a promotion meeting on 18 April, where she complimented his hard-working attitude, saying: “Pal, I’ve met my match.”
Elon Musk, who announced Thursday that he had recruited someone to start filling in as Twitter president in a month and a half, revealed Friday that Linda Yacarino is the person he picked for the gig.
Yaccarino had been serving as NBCUniversal’s administrator of global promotions and organizations, but the organization said on Friday that she is now stepping down effective.
According to her LinkedIn page, Yacarino has ties to the World Financial Council, and she pushed coronavirus vaccinations when she took a seat on the chamber’s top managerial staff.
Her LinkedIn profile also describes her as a “world leader”.
Someone before spreading much concern about Yacarino arguing that “he will get promotional income for the time being is still a big mistake.”
Musk announced that he wanted to speak with Yacarino on a Twitter space where people could ask him questions. He tweeted, “When @LindaYacc is ready, we will complete a space where you can ask us anything.” A month before Twitter chief Elon Musk reported NBCUniversal promotions leader Linda Yacarino as his replacement, she spoke alongside him in front of an audience in Florida and showed some spine.
At some point during the meeting, which includes a possible meeting in April on “Twitter 2.0: From discussions to organizations,” a less methodical questioner could have moved on to other topics, but Yacarino continued to poke Musk.
The crowd was full of showcasing heads, a significant number of whom were hesitant to campaign on Twitter after Musk’s $44 billion acquisition last year. Promotions have long been Twitter’s main source of revenue, but fell after Musk a self-described “free-speech despot” — bought the company. Sponsors, hoping their missions would appear closer to details of bias, collusion and other shocking material, abandoned or downplayed their missions.
“I need you to give me a little push,” Yacarino told Musk, “because a lot of people here vote with their wallets.” Some of them, facing the “challenge” of Musk’s dubious “perspectives” (he frequently tweets about legislative issues and business) are still “laying down” and not campaigning, he said.
Musk replied that the crowd should consider their tweets considering other factors, as it is hard to convey tone with a single tweet. “So something that could be satire or a joke or something serious to that effect, when it isn’t.” He accused the media of presenting his tweets in an entirely bad light as it competes with Twitter for publicity dollars.
She then asked whether Musk should be of better quality with his tweets, noting, “A lot of people think you can be overly provocative.”
Twitter elon musk names advertising executive linda yakkara who you know as company’s new ceo expected to start in six weeks uh she’s head of advertising sales at media giant nbc universal so what does that mean you can talk to me thanks for joining the program tiffany shoe technology reporter new york times so what do you think about this appointment uh it’s not a surprise and not too surprising uh she’s a powerhouse in the industry .
he’s been playing that kind of role for a while now and not showing the kind of benefits we’re seeing on Twitter. She is known as a coordinator. They are great at developing relationships. engagement is great in a way that doesn’t promote conflict he’s a professional in advertising uh industry everyone respects him he’s widely beloved hope he’s really able to take twitter out of advertising and obviously But Elon’s expertise and revenue in the field is much less than Musk’s work is very beneficial for listing this company.
This is surprising because it seems that Linda Elon has focused on social media exclusivity advertisers and advertisers have chosen not to focus on money and over the years it has had a very touchy relationship with Madison Avenue, He previously said he doesn’t like advertising, doesn’t think it’s necessary, but looks like he’s changed his tune, now it’s not that interesting and of course we must say he still hasn’t left the company. And of course he still has a Twitter account so we’re still hearing a lot about it in the advertising industry. Several people I’ve talked to say that Linda is a fantastic ruler, given that Elon tends to be out alone.
The way he can explain can be a little looser than he usually is. Tweet and what about the impact on other JC’s because those other JC’s have many and their shareholders have been saying for some time now you need to focus your attention on these other JC’s as well, word is that alone Is Twitter interested in waiting and seeing? Probably not. I don’t expect Twitter to be such a complicated business. I had a source that comes to me that Twitter is an almost impossible business.
he wants to give up some control uh ready it’s obviously going to be a very capable gels and it won’t be a surprise if elon says you’re what I know now and don’t want it’s going to be interesting we’ll see That’s what happens on that and we’ll see if your prediction comes true in The Tiffany Show.
